La cerimonia, che si è tenuto a Belfast, Irlanda del Nord, ha visto Gaga a casa a piedi con premi per la migliore canzone (Born This Way), Best Female, Best Video (Born This Way) e più grandi fan.

Bruno Mars ha vinto il premio per Best New premio e migliore di spinta, mentre rock band Jared Leto 's 30 Seconds To Mars ha trionfato nella migliore categoria Best World stadio alternativo e.

Adele ha portato a casa l'ambito premio per il Best UK & Ireland Act.
